We recorded the trio cuts in slightly over 3 hours. The solo piano streams were recorded a few hours earlier in about 45 minutes. But it came together in a special way.Paul was on the road constantly at that time and Larry also out of the country alot , so we put a bullseye on the calander and went into the studio with no rehearsal. We had never played together as a trio before but the first song on the CD is actually our first take of ever playing together. I think it's organic and electric. After the recording I added some synth strings to the second trio cut. I'm very grateful to Paul for doing the liner notes. I think this CD is a 'must have' for bass players and drummers everywhere.
